After more than three decades of economic success,China has narrowed the gap with the developed world on economics,but it has widened the gap on environmental area. Many factories discharge sewage and toxic water,without caring to treat them, into the atmosphere soil and water bodies. Chinese government have realized that economic development model of the past three decades is not sustainable and emphasized building an ecological civilization which underlines environmental conservation and harmony between man and nature has been elevated to the hight of the state will and national strategy. Many measures can be taken by our country . Firstly, the most basic way in which a goverment can address the ecological civilization is to better educate th public. Our country should give priority to controlling greenhouse gas emission ,tackling pollution and realizing a green low-carbon economy. As long as we make long-lasting effort, the ecological civilization can be realized.
