It is universally acknowledge that we have stepped into a technology-based and a knowledge-based society. I agree that we made enormous breakthroughs more than any time in the past whereas we haven't developed in some areas yet. The most significant change is technology development. Mass use of machines makes it easy for people to plant crops. For example, farmers are able to manipulate the machines to spread seeds effectively and efficiently. It is a time-saving and labor-saving way to increase the food supplied and reduce hunger. Planes, trains and cars can shrink the distance between producers and customers while Industry can produce products in large number to meet the increasing demand of consumers. On the other hand, The development of Internet has transformed the way we communicated, which provides the latest news with people to experience changes of the world .Not only everybody can make friends and chat with others in modern social networking websites but also they can choose the one they want to talk with and do not need long-time waiting. Besides, we cultivate a free and fair environment to encourage cultural development in those eras. Many artists express their ideas through varieties of art works .Musicians create songs, architects build skyscraper and directors make films. All of these can contribute to cultural diversity and social entertainment. However, we ignore that some problems would inhabitant the progress of some areas. We pollute air, river and excessively explore resource to develop industry. We change the way we go out but the car fumes contribute to global warming , which indicated that environmental conservation almost remains unchanged. In addition, An increasing number of conflicts are happening around the world and The religious issues and hegemony make it difficult to people who want to live in a peaceful area. So it is pity that human being still suffers from fights and trade barrier. In conclusion, Although I believe that human being has made inspiring progress in most of all fields but we should have recognized that if we cannot protect our environment and create a peaceful world we would not make continue progress in the future.
