As nowadays, there are many ways we can learn, and figure out the most efficient method to learn become the most significant issue. When it comes to this topic, different people have different point of view. Some people view that learning by reading is a good way, while others argue that they prefer learning by doing. From my point of view, I'm more agree with the second statement for the following reasons. To begin with, I must admit that we really need to learn by reading which has been used for hundreds of years. But it is more important that we put our knowledge into practice in which way we can truly use the knowledge into our real life. Take myself as an example. When I get 18 years old, my mother told me to learn to cook myself. So I bought a cooking book and started to read it. After I finished reading it, I thought I have almost became the master chef. I can even remember every step wrote in that book. Then my mother asked me to cook one day, and I was self-confidence and cooked the colar chicken. I had a try and, trust me, it tasted terrible. From that moment, I learned that you will never good at something unless you truly practice. Only when you practice, you will find out what's your weakness about understanding of the knowledge or whether you understand it. What's more, when you learn by doing, you will have practice experience in some area which can help you go deep into it. You can see that most of the employees of the companies are always like to choose graduate students who have work experience before. Learning by doing can open up our views and enhance our depth of understanding than learning just by reading.
