While talking about communication, I do prefer face-to-face communicate while it is between me and my close friends or families, however, whether it is the better way to communicate is depends on the situation. In some case, it is not. Face-to -face communication allows a variety of ways that passing on messages, like tones,eye contact, body language even touch occasionally. What about the situations that we don't want to lead so much information. We all have seen, in the movies, that the protagonist was surrounded by officers while talking through telephone with the kidnapper, in this situation both have something to hide beneath the talking. Some may argue that this is bare happened, however, isn't the scene familiar? I recall that one time when the purchaser of our company was negotiating with our supplier, the manager hint him to put on speaker and everyone in the office was busy calculating every time the new offer was made, and I bet it went the same way on the other side of the telephone. In situations like this it's really not a better way to talk face-to-face. Another advantage and disadvantage of face-to-face communication is the distance. I prefer face-to-face while the talking is going on with families and friends, however, there are some relationship we do like some distance. For instance, while deal with my landlord who is absorb in digging others privacy and is always nagging about something, I prefer talk with message, actually I pay my rent through bank transfer only besides the first time. Although most of the time it's a better way to talk face-to-face, due to the fact that we all need privacy and distance and sometimes mystery, it's not always the better way to communicate.
