Nowadays, with the development social economy, packaging has been playing an important role in marketing competition. As is often the case, beautiful appearance is more appealing to people to a certain degree. Chances are that customers may be attracted by the fancy packaging of a product and choose to buy it. and thus can help producers make more profits. However, since most of the packaging resources are non-recycled, there is no doubt that excessive packaging is worsening our earth environment. From my point of view, first of all, public awareness should be raised to resist the phenomenon of excessive packaging. People should be informed that what we must focus on is the quality of a product, not its packaging. Apart from that, manufactures and producers should try other ways to such as good quality of the product or the best after service to appeal to the customers rather than through fancy packaging. Last but not the least, if packaging is necessary, recycled materials are highly recommended. In that way, we can reduce the pollution to a maximum extent and protect our environment.
