Modern society has increased the choices for people to decide where to live and where to work. Some people claimed that it is beneficial for the family to move to the city, for cities offer more convenient conditions for them to live a better life than the countryside. I, however, don’t believe so. Let’s assume that your lover has already had a relatively stable work in the countryside and it is hard for him/her to find a suitable job in the city, contradiction appears: your lover may not be willing to moving to the city, unless you choose a long-distance relationship with her. It is a long story to tell, but the main point is the stable of your family is broken. Even if he/she will, moving to the city means a heavier economical burden for you at this point. This is the same case with your parents. Many parents living in the countryside are not accustomed to the life in cities. Take my parents as example. The most difficult action for them to take is communication, they communicate with our dialect in our hometown, it is hard for them to change their habit to be accustomed to the national language. Secondly, they are not agree with the urban lifestyle, such as the night life in the city, they even pick up me when I am not on the bed later than 10:00 pm. And thirdly, it is better for them to live in the countryside for there is more peace there, and they love the place where they have lived all their lives. Exceptions do exist when it comes to education, since we have to admit the educational inequality between cities and countryside and cities offer more and better educational resources. Therefore, in the long run, it may be not a bad idea to move to the city. To sum up, wherever you live, you are facing the different difficulties in life. As the song goes: “ trouble if a friend”. Therefore, it is a good idea to go on living in the countryside, and it is also not a bad idea to move to the city, the best choice is that the situation suits you and comfort your family.
