Through my research,I find that more than a half of students are for the practice.Their reasons are these:First interviews give a wonderful opportunity to assess the overall ability of a student.Second,this practice encourages a larger percentage of students to find and to develop their potential.Third,a more open and effective way of selecting talents will be set up.Certainly,the research suggests that 40% of students don't think so.Interviews,they think,have a disadvantage of being subjective and one-sided.Additionally,all students are not good at presenting good images.What is more,it is not possible at all to judge a person within 3 or 5 minutes. For me,I would rather choose to stand on the negative side.Competence,after all,is cultivated after opening our horizons,however,in reality,it is hard for people in poor areas to see the world in their youth.Therefore,I think it is unfair.
