Happiness For most of people, judging happiness quotient look like a philosophy problem. People can easily think it over too long. They will consider their family’s economic condition, friend relationship, their childhood and even school achievement. Then, this simple question will become a real headache cause nobody can accuracy measure happiness by so many factors. For me, happiness is not complicated but simple. I do not think about it by what I have but what I get from others and what I give to others. When someone asked me if I was happy, the first thing flashed in my mind was my most darling parent. They love and nurture me and take care of every need. Whenever I felt blue or tired, I knew my family was always waiting for me to have a rest. Then, I would also miss my friends who companied with me for a long time. The warm and precious friendship helped me though hard time and made me happy. These feelings told me that Instead of complaining about what’s wrong, be grateful for what’s right. Showing our love and concern for strangers is another way to gain happiness. Last year, I had an unforgettable trip in Tibet. Before leaving, I bought a few notebooks and bags for the possibility to help poor children. As I truly met those lovely children and put the notebooks in their little hands, I found a sense of happiness. The happiest are not those who own all the best things, but those who can appreciate the beauty of life. Love, kindness and thankfulness are all good character to hold onto the happiness. So next time when anyone asks you if you are happy, just show your confidence and say ‘I am definitely happy!’
