Nowadays with the development of economy, existing cities are growing bigger and new cities are appearing. We make no doubt that our society has made a great progress with stepping into modern times. Of course, there also have give rise to all sorts of problems in all the areas. However, what is one of the major problems that may result from this process of urbanization? Personally, I think the most important problem is that level of unemployment is getting more serious than before. On the one hand, with most of the cities in china are developing very fast, more and more labors in the countryside are willing to give up their farms and go into the cities for jobs to make a living. It turns out that is a good sign in the beginning; however, the case is becoming worse in the end. Because factories in cities are not big enough to accommodate so many people. On the other hand, in the course of urbanization, a large amount of farmland has been taken up by the highway, factories, housing. The loss of the farmland, plus the mechanization and modernization of agriculture, indeed has created a huge excess labor force. However, these are not sufficient solutions to these unemployment problems with a great number of people swarming into cities. From what we have talked above, it can be easily seen that urbanization has posed a strong challenge to our economic, the high employment threat. Though there is no quick solution to such a trouble, our government and experts are trying hard to find ways to fight against it.
