The place of science and technology in modern life In modern life, everything has got rapid development, including science and technology. There is no denying that we cannot live in this world without the two aspects which offers us a lot of convenience. So the life we are living now is more civilized than that of our fore fathers. In my prospective, science and technology has taken a crucial and irreplaceable role in our daily life. Let’s take several examples as bellow. First of all, we are all familiar with television, and it is a great invention of science and technology. We tend to use it as long as we have free time. Through the use of TV people can hear the sound and learn the events happening thousands of all over the world. Secondly, owing to the invention of spaceship and rocket, the dream of man's landing on the moon has now come true, which also marks the great process of the humankind. To some degrees, in the near future, we may travel or move to the other planets. Last but not least, the appearance of the internet provides us much more benefits. Students can study with computer at their homes instead at school; employee can work at home but not company, and by this way, helping employers cut down much unnecessary costs and saving workers some time shuttling To make a conclusion, science and technology has brought us a more amazing life, but it still has a long way to go. In another word, we should do as much as we can to make a contribution to the development of science and technology so as to provide a more solid base to build our country.
