No matter how hard they try to persuade them and prevent it from happening, this phenomenon seems to be on increase. In the past, only the students who made poor marks could try to do that, but now, even the good students also join the team. So, why do students cheat on exams? Personally, there are many reasons, such as the pressure from the future job hunting and social competition as well as gain for scholarship. Some students cheat on exams in order to get higher final marks, which will be of great benefit for them to seize opportunity to get scholarship. We know that every modern university award students who are good at study by giving a big amount of money. This money, of course, is actually attractive to students. As the sum of scholarship is mostly decided by examination scores, students will try their best to get that money by all means. At the same time, cheating on exams takes place accordingly. Some other students cheat on exams because they want to find a better job after their graduation from college. Doubtable, it is harder for students to find a suitable job compared with the past times. And company, therefore, is surely willing to hire some excellent graduates and one of their principles to choose talents is to value their exam marks at university. Even some companies only take on students whose examination scores of each subject are at 70 or above. To sum up, all these above reasons force students to cheat on exams. Only when the society and the university find the real source of the problem and handle it can we make avoidance of cheating.
