As the bar chart given above, we can easily observe the difference between the life expectancy and infant mortality from 1960 to 1990. Obviously, the life expectancy of people is shown to be in an increasing tendency in the period of 1960 to 1990,which means people prefer longer life nowadays. On the contrary, when it comes to infant mortality, statistics drop to the half of 1960's statistic. From my perspective, this phenomenon might be drawn from two points. First of all, with the comprehensive national power getting better and better, our index of happiness is rising, which leads us to wish a longer life. Moreover, the decreasing of infant mortality rate is probably the result of the significant development of our state's medical level. Nevertheless, this phenomenon might aggravate the problem of rising unemployment.
