Dear President, I am a new graduate student and I am writing this letter for the purpose of expressing my deepest concern about the construction of our university. Though a multitude of achievements have been made by the university,still there are some areas to improved.In the first place,we should place more emphasis on academic research rather than making profits.In the second place,more effective measures should be taken to advance the teaching quality,such as recruiting distinguished professors and instituting stricter assessment rules for the professors.In the third place,it is with the development of science and technology that better teaching facilities and studying environment are required for the university.
