Firstly, the advantages of genetically modified food are multiple but the most obvious one is its high production. As the world population keeps going up ,the demand for food supply increases every year. However, most of the famers use the conventional ways to produce food which means low efficiency. But now with the development of science and technology, some scientists have been able to make new plants by changing the genetic materials. It is fact that genetically modified food can generate several times as much food for humans compare to the conventional ways to produce food. So the production of genetically modified food means a solution to the problem of increasing severe global hunger issues. In addition, unlike some traditional ways to produce food, the generation of genetically modified food which apply modern molecular biotechnology indeed does not use fertilizer and pesticides causing no pollution to the air, which is of great importance to the importance to the environment.
