Students on campus who have the main role of studying are supposely deemed to be the elites contributing to the society. With such huge posibillity, whether they should participate in types of extra-curriculum activities has been widely debated. A great number of university students have been involved with activities other than studying which ranging from the practical exercise to intership. Those real life experiences benefits both individuals and shools. First, one could gain more working experence before even graduating from college which endow oneself with more competitive capability than those who didn't have the chance. In conjunction with that, students with social activities tend to be more resilient when they enter the society owing to the great communication skills they learned from extra-curriculum events. Further, colleges which promote cooperation programmes with companies will have better reputation in providing exellent students. However, colleges are places for studying as their priority which should by no means be neglected. To equip all our students with tremendous knowleges still the primary task for every schools especially colleges. Therefore, colleges should promote academic study. How to maintain and balance between academic study and activities off campuse will be on the top of all colleges' major concern. I believe, with effort, university which provides good opportunities for students both academically and socially will thrive in the future.
