People have different views on reading extensively. Some people argue that reading extensively benefit them lifetime. To begin with, as we read extensively we may have a broader horizon of the world and understand the society clearly.Furthermore, reading extensively helps us acquire more knowledge about other fields so that we can deal with more difficulties successfully.What's more, with all kinds of different problems we confront in our society abruptly so it is imperative for us to have an extensive knowledge. Others hold the oppositive view that it is useless to read extensively.Firstly,reading extensively is a waste of time,which probably diminishes our time in doing other important things. Moreover,more time we spend in reading may not pay for because we seldom use the knowledge we gain in books and put into practice.Since the bad books selling in bookstore are poisonous to our minds,we should read selectively. In conclusion,every coin has two sights and in my opinion,we should pick up books selectively in advance and then read extensively.
