With the development of the society, movies are becoming increasingly popular as an entertainment. However, there exist two different kind of movies, ones that make the audience think and others that are more amusing and entertaining. As far as I am concerned, the ones that make me think are far more meaningful and are my preference. In my opinion, the amusing and entertaining movies are less worthy. They are temporary because of leaving less impression on the audience compared to the thoughtful ones. People laugh when they watch amusing movies, nevertheless they would sink into thing afterwards. On the contrary, a thoughtful movie provides the audience more than the movie itself. Except for the enjoyment of watching a movie, it can touch people deeply into the heart. People can learn to cherish, to be polite, to be brave, or even to sacrifice for others, no matter whether they are old or young and no matter what their jobs are. For instance, I watch the Tatanic when I was only five years old. But I was moved. Although I didn't exactly understand what love was, I felt a little that I needed to treasure the people around me and what I had at that moment. The classic movies are always ones that make people think, even though after decades of years. Those movies can be gorgeous, educational or artistic. But they obviously have something in common, that is, they are all profounded and capable of dragging the audience into the scene and leading them to feel in the same way with the characters. I prefer the movies that make the audience think, not only because I can learn something from it, but also for I love the feeling to become simultaneously emotional, like I have melt into the movie.
