Dear schoolmates, Good morning. As we know, about 7:49a.m. on April 14, 2010, a Magnitude 7.1 earthquake hit Yushu County of Qinghai Province, causing a lot of damage。Recently our class have had a discussion on how to rebuild the quake –stricken area。 One group hold the view that the quake-stricken areas will Interest point of view more from the help being offered。As is known to all，in the disaster some areas suffered great losses and were in need of money and materals。In addition，those alive are suffering great sorrow and pain, and then the help from the outside should play the leading role. However, the other group argue that first we should encourage the poor people to act to help themselves. First, the local people ought to undertake the responsibility to rebuild their hometowns. They also actively participate in reconstruction work will help them to forget the sorrow and pain. From my point of view, both of the two ways are necessary. As the saying goes, “God helps those who help themselves”. With our assistance, the local people must be willing and able to devote themselves to the reconstruction work to create a better future.
