As is known to all, everything has its advantages and disadvantages, so living in a rural area or a big city is just depends on what you really want. For me, it's better to live in a big city. To begin with, in big cities, there are more job odds for people. Many university graduates go to big cities just for the reason. They believe they can find better and higher-salary jobs in big cities, while in the rural places, almost no chances for young people. Additionally, for people with kids, they can let their kids receive better education in big cities, and I am one of them. It's well-known that good schools with excellent teachers and outstanding teaching facilities always locate in big cities, where they receive advanced cultural and educational messages always, pushing forward their development. It's obvious students, parents and schools all benefit from what the big cities offer. Furthermore, good hospitals with proficient medical staff and hi-tech medical devices are always in big cities. For example, you can find many people in all famous hospitals in Beijing, and many of them are from other places. Why do they travel so far here? Of course for better medical treatment. If you are a resident in Beijing, it will be convienent for you to see doctors in these famous hospitals, especially for the olds and the kids. To conclude, as a person living in a modern society, the big city life is better than the rural life in many aspects. We all have a dream to escape from the crowd, but we all have to face the picture that we can't give up many practical benefits from the modern life, so we need to live in a big city and of course we enjoy it.
