Looking back at the past 100 years, so many aspects of human life have achieved enormous progress: moon landing realized our human's sky-flying dream; underground train roaring through tunnels under the bottom of sea or rivers; without going out of your house, one can talk to and see his/her friend thousands of miles away; even we can print out a birthday cake or a gift by using a 3D printer...... innumerous technological miracles make our life and society rich and colorful. It seems that the human being's civilization is going in a direction to greater happiness and well-being. Is that so ? Partially right, partially not. The developments in the cases listed above really brings us more convenience, more power to explor the universe, more wisdom to enrich our daily life. But, can we ignore the other side of the coin? In the world, do you know how many countries are suffering from poverty, serious famine, ruthless flood, stifling drought..., why? Cannot you see that, in order to make our environment "better", the human changed the route of the rivers, block the river flows by many dams？ Cannot you see that more and more lakes, small water pools, ponds were filled up with soil for building residential houses and other commercail structures? Cannot you see the sweet water underground has been pumped up and the undergroud water level fells to a dangerous hight which has caused ground subsidence. What it is worse is that the underground water was seriously polluted by chemical emissions or other pollutants and this will endanger our sons and grandsons, our later generations! What I want to say is that, every rational government on the Earth, should strictly thinking about the future effects brought by our today's action, whatever action. And every body of every country should take care of his/her thoughts, language and deeds tightly, because good leads to good, bad leads to bad. For the whole universe is not only yours, it is for all of us, belanging to every being, all fauna and flora, animals and human beings. The universy is oneness: the seemingly seperate and indendent ones, in fact, they are all in one, related with each other by various means. What is done by you here will affect the others there. We are a common body of destiny. Therefore, while we are enjoying the progress and development of our life brought by technological revolution, me must pay enough attention on the gloomy side, the disasters and pollution being suffered by those unlucky people. As a common body of destiny, the world, our world shoud be cherished and protected by every body, by every government and organisations. The past 100 years brings us much progress and happiness, and it also leaves us a lot of plights and obstacles. How should we deal with the future development? The answer is: keep a balanced pace between development and environmental protection and avoid recovering environment on a much more cost of development.
