Undoubtedly, not all human activities have negative effects on the Nature. It will be fair to say some human activities have positive effects on the Nature, for example, planting trees in desert is conducive to restore the desert's planting cover; while some human activities will pose bad effects on the environment, as we often see that the emission of our vehicles directly have air polluted. And the current natural environment where we live in is just the consequences of the confrontation between environmental pollution and protection both by human activities. Let's take today's China as an example: the coal miners and coal-fired power plants, they are sure to support producing and consuming coal in a rough way which means lower cost for them, while the residents and governmental environmental protection authorities will take measures to curb the coal consumption or demand the coal consumers' to install with energy saving or anti-pollution equipment, which means higher cost for these consumers. Who is right and who is wrong? Fairly speaking, all of the above two parties are right while standing on their own stance. However, can we treat the relations between human activities and Nature just out of our own standing point and ignoring the others? In order to make the correct and universally acceptable attitude towards the human-nature relations, we must firstly have a correct perception on the Nature. According to both the modern physics theory and traditional Chinese philosophy: the human being and the Nature are all integral parts of the universe, and they are all in one. Since it is one, the reasonable attitude we should hold is to balance the relations between the human activities and the Nature. The most simple way to realize this equilibrium is on the human side: if all human beings can treat the Nature as our mother, then every action we take will be very careful and out of love, because nobody in the world would like to hurt or harm his/her mother deliberately. Subsequently, both the consumers and the governing authorities would have the same vision and they would follow the same principle guiding their life and production. And that shall be nature-friendly principles. If we follow this participle, no one will think it is too late to save our environment, and any effective measures taken to improve the situation will be highly appreciated. Therefore, my opinion on the relations between human activities and Nature including animals and plants is very clear: the first step is to set up our nature-friendly view point and can treat the Nature and environment as our mother, then all problems and contradictions hereunder will be solved accordingly.
