It is human nature that we are aspire to gain the affectionate stuffs on a certain level; consequently, when children are sastisfied by spending money purchasing the desirable stuffs that they yearnd for a long time, the momentum to repeat the laudable action tends to be stong. It is tough for children to hold a rational financial value without any social purchasing experience. Moreover, flamboyant poducts like toys, car models and sugars never fail to fascinate children, triggering them to afford a large amount of money. The story of my little cousin Tom, a primary school student with egregious purchsing records, who was allowed to manage money himself, would illustrate my point to the utmost. Initially, Tom, like other peer kids, begged for his parents to purchase toys for him and merely received one piece of favorite ones during a long period of time. Later, his mother announced a vital decision that Tom could take the money himself for sake that this decision was conducive to forge the capability of money management. Besides, his mother spared no effors to instruct Tom how to distribute the money efficiently. However, to her surprise, Tom was still innocent about bugeting money and spent over two thousand RMB purchasing car models when encountering them in the toy store. Even if he already harbored the collection of the armory series, he could not help purchasing all of the models. As a result, it turned out that allowing kids to hold the rights of money management could triger huge losses. Among all the measures given by instructing rational money management at the young age, none deserves more attention than imparting consume knowledge to them. On one hand, it is weighty for kids to learn the importance of devising a judicious purchasing plan at first. Under the elabrate estimation of budget, more appopriate purchasing behavior can be conducted. On the other hand, parents are bound to teach the kids about purchasing power. In this respect, children can have the basic understanding of what kinds of products are within their purchasing limits so that wise consumption could be occurred after they are capable to keep the money.
