As the picture above reveals vividly,the son is so addicted to the Internet that he rarely communicates with his parents face to face or even comes downstairs for something to eat,which sparks a vigorous debate in our society concerning electronic communication and face-to-face contact.And I cling to the idea that the former can never replace the latter. Initially,there is no emotion through electronic communication.It is difficult to recognize the changes in other's feelings and exchange feelings through a cool-blooded machine,though it provides us with comfort and convenience.Similarly vital,it appears discourteous to others especially the elder.Lastly,when it comes to the knowledge to use the electronic equipment,it is impossible to chat on the Internet for the most people.And this is a key reason why electronic communication cannot hold the leading position. From my perspective,I maintain that we are supposed to support face-to-face contact,in that it is a genial way to promote the relationship as well as an asset to get friendship or maybe experience.You will never regret from it.
