As a Chinese native speaker, I have some advice for you to help you master the language sooner and better. Firstly, don't be lazy. Learning a language needs a lot of efforts, especially when studying new words and expressions. From the moment you start learning Chinese characters, you need to focus on it and try your best to memorize every part of a word. It may be a little boring at first, but after a while you will find Chinese characters interesting! Secondly, be willing to review. We are human. Our memory can't last forever. Therefore, it is of great significance to review. The best cycle for reviewing is to review 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 60 minutes, 1 day, 15 days and 30 days after your learning process. Only doing this can you make your short-term memory into long-term or even permanent memory. Last but not least, try to keep yourself staying in "Chinese environment".
