For the cultural difference, numerous scholars have published their researches on different magazines and newspapers. However, their researches are confined in that people’s attitudes toward friendship are dynamic and cultural difference is also changed with the further communication cross boundaries. The cultural gap between China and USA is changing constantly, which causes the research of views of friendship not keeping in step with the times. Even though the definitions of friend are conducive to the research, it is outdated and some subtle changes occurs. Except limitations mentioned above, it is weak for many researchers to probe the cultural differences without the carrier of American culture. Therefore, it is rather difficult for average people to comprehend the cultural difference in terms of views of friendship.
