As phones become more and more permeate in people's daily life,some are convinced that phones will kill letter writing.As a matter of fact,I strongly doubt this view. To begin with,letter writing is a traditional way of contacting others which has lasted for hundreds of thousands of years.People have read about letters in both ancient and modern poems and tend to be really addicted to the beauty and romance hidden in the letter and the addiction is so deeply rooted in peoeple's hearts that it can not be easily earased. What's more,phone calls can be of great expense,especially between different provinces and countries,which can not be affordable to everybody.In that case,people tend to have a preference for the relevantly cheaper way of communicating---writing. In a word,phones cannot take the place of letter writing despite of their increasing popularity.What we should do is try to accept both of them to make communication easier.
