Beijing is my hometown. I think the most interesting place in Beijing is Great Wall. Great Wall is one of the seven marvels in the world. To some extent, it is the symbol of China. Great Wall has a very long history in China. It started to build in Qing Dynasty. Initially, it's built for defending invasion from the countries adjacent to north of China. From then on, it had been extended or rebuilt in almost every Dynasty. Until Ming Dynasty, it has a total length about ten thousands kilometers. Beijing have several places for seeing Great wall, including Badaling, Shuiguan, Juyongguan and etc. In my opinion, Badaling Great wall is the most favorable place to visit, especially for foreigner. It has been well-developed. It has very convenient to take public transportation vessel or just driving to there and it also have many restaurants and cafeteria where you can have a rest and eat some food. All in all, Great Wall is amazing. If you came to China without a tour to the Great Wall, it's really a great regret.
