Nowadays, we all have access to anywhere as soon as possible by plane. Although airline travel is hours of boredom interrupted by moments of stark terror, many of us get accustomed to the convenience and speed of air travel if we want to travel further. However, not everyone can afford the burden of high prices of air travel. Now the question is, are we supposed to cut down the prices to satisfy different passengers' needs? Many people think cheap air travel should be couraged because it gives ordinary people freedom to travel further. In the ancient time of China, a scholar must be fully prepared before he hurries to the capital for imperial examination. Because it will be a long duration trip for around two months. But the contemporary development of transportation just makes it a safe and pleasant experience to travel in the long distance. As we know, Chinese students studying overseas are getting younger and younger. If the ticket prices keep going up , it's like a huge barrier cutting off the chances of connecting parents and children. In addition to all of these benefits for human themselves, environmemtal problems should be taken into consideration. Others think low ticket prices will lead to some damage to the natural environment. So the air travel should be more expensive in order to discourage people from having it. Like other vehicles, jets also work by burning oil. Chemical gas emitted by a jet just does minute harm to the environment. Nevertheless, massive emissions could create devastation as time goes by.Moverover, non-renewable resources like crude oil, natural gas, coal, etc will ultimately be used up, leaving nothing to the descendants. Air travel's advantages and disadvantages are just the two sides of one coin. It's my viewpoint that I am on the side against cutting down the ticket prices. The earth itself has the bearing capacity, in other words, we can't endlessly consume the resources from the mother earth. Supposing we are interrupted by the awful noise caused by the increasing number of planes, the noise pollution also deserves our close attention. Moreover, some rare species may be faced with a destiny of extinction due to the land occupied by airports everywhere. At last, moderate measures will be come up with to solve the difficulties of traveling further without causing tragic destruction to the nature.
