It is generally acknowledged that parents play a significant role in the process of our growth .These days,whether parents are our best teachers has aroused a heated debate.I am inclined to agree with this statement for the following considerations. First of all,it’s parents who teach us how to walk and how to talk.They are our first teachers. When we are born,we know nothing about daily life.Parents nurture us,and tell us how to express our thoughts,how to walk,how to cultivate good habits.Certainly,we can learn these things from kindergarten,but we all know that there are so many children in school that teachers can not take care of all children.In this sense,only our parents can spend enough time and energy taking care of us,they know exactly what we need to learn,as well as what we want. Besides,parents set examples for us,what they say and what they do influence our behaviour deeply.We live with our parents almost everyday,it is human’s nature to imitate parents.For example,we don’t know how to deal with the relationship with relatives,especialy in some special festivals.While our parents do know what to do for relatives in new year’s day or some other festivals,they will give lucky money to their nephews and nieces,also to our grandparents.They show us these and then we know how to do it when we grow up. Last but not least,We grow up with parents’s company all the time,which result in they know our weaknesses exactly.When we do something wrong,they will castigate us,then tell us how to di it correctly. They know what is the most effective method to educate us.In this sense,it is undeniable that parents are the best parents. In summary,parents bring us up painstakingly,they teach us how to live,how to get along with others,they know us exactly,and they have special methods to educate us when we do something wrong,they undoubtedly are the best teachers.
