In recent years, with the rapid development of many large cities , a huge number of young population surge into the cities.However, despite the increasing of wealth, many people feel stress because the quality of life is not as high as they expected. The fundamental reason for declining the quality of life should be the drastic competition among people.As for those who working in the large cities, everyday they are busily competing with others and grasping every opportunity to improve themselves for a better career life and a higher life standard.Otherwise,they will be washed out by the society.Therefore, they have little time for themselves to accompany their families ,friends and neighborhoods,which leads to social isolation.What is more, with the increasing population in large cities, the air condition is worse and worse, the life cost is higher and higher and the traffic jam is more and more crowded, causing the raise of criminal rate and sickness rate in large cities. As for these problems,some effective measures should be taken out but I think the most significant one is to uproot the resource concentration.By what I mean is to remove some industries and companies to the small cities.For one thing, there will be few people crowd in large cities ,saving people out from the pollution and traffic congestion.For another, government can grasp this chance to develop small cities, enhancing the life quality in here. In addition, social isolation can directly contribute to the lower level of happiness and satisfaction with life, and higher criminal and suicide rate.But these can be addressed by knitting a close net within local community.To be specific, some community centers should be established ,so as to organize community activities and provide dwellers a chance to get familiar with their neighbors and to offer domestic service to families with young children and elder members.Besides, government should offer more public areas,where people can have fun with their family and consequently establish a firm connection with their family. In conclusion, it is normal that urbanization is often accompanied with different issues.Nonetheless, these issues can be resolved by some positive and effective actions.Personally, I think developing small cities is the best solution for solving the problems.
