Perseverance means that a person could do something hard in a long period of time to get through problems and reach his goal. To approach success or become stronger, we need both excellent tutors and scientific methods. Only perseverance could not make people stronger. To find one's soul mate is the first example. If the girl who you court is not fond of you, only perseverance would not make you success. It is the same situation for exercise, if you want to lose your weight but follow a muscle-build method, then you must fail and despite how persevere you are. Different purpoes need different corresponding methods, to get more muscle or to lose weight are totally different. So, compared to perseverance, goals and approaches are more important for success or becoming stronger. But if you have correct goal and methods, then perseverance is the most important factor for you to become stronger. Any outstanding athletes or scientists, must spend much more time and perspiration than normal people. For them, perseverance is as important as an excellent tutor. So, in my thinking, only perseverance would not make people stronger. But after combining with brilliant tutor and correct method, perseverance will become the most important factor to determine whether a person will success or become stronger.
