I have been at college for a year, and an important lesson I have learned is how to manage my time effectively. In my first semester at college, with so much free time, I manage it unwisely. I have never been to the library to study. What's worse, I spent lots of time in sleeping and watching TV. So at the end of the semester, I felt I have learned nothing. Back at home in the winter vacation, I was ashamed of myself when I found my friends lived a meaningful college life. Some of them studied hard every day, some friends took a part-time job, and some participated in a student society. They all made their college life colorful, but what have I done? With so much time I have wasted, I determined to manage my time wisely. In the following semester, I usually go to the library to study. What's more, I take a part-time job as well as my friends. I take full advantage of my free time. Of course, I also take a part of time to relax myself. I learned the importance of time management.
