Always telling the truth is the most important consideration in any relationship. There is no doubt that honest is an essential quality in modern society. Of course we can't lie at something which are against the law or deliberately cheat someone for personal benefits. But in our daily life, always telling the truth shouldn't be the most important consideration in any relationship. As we know, human relationship is very complicated. Telling the truth will not always be a gift as you may expect, it can be a poison, not just for someone you talked to the truth but also maybe for yourself too. I could like to give some examples for that. Can you image parents always tell the truth to their children, I don’t mean the parents cheat their children on purpose, but some of the things they have said to them are just not so really, like tales ,Father Christmas or something like that. Besides, people have experienced some horrible accidents every year, like earthquakes or terrorist attacks. If those things happened on your life, and you want to comfort your children , it’s not wise to tell them that life is full of accidents and we can’t control those events. Some parents may say love can conquer everything , which is very useful when a child experienced something terrible. But obviously for many adults, love can't be so powerful, not to mention to change everything. In addition, the meaning of the truth can be understand in many different ways, especially for the people have different backgrounds and religious beliefs. For example ,it’s kind of really difficult for a Chinese to believe that God does create the world. If a chinese have a Christian friend ,he or she could better not to persuade the each other whether god is really or not. Even though both of them think they are talking the truth, but the topic like that easily cause hatred to each other, and for many countries such things can even arouse a war. It's not surprise that we already have got many related wars in human history. People believe telling the truth can make our life better or more valuable, that's the most important reason why we do it. So it's very essential for us to considerate the consequences behind the every so-called the truth. A really wise man know really life is not a movie or novel which have absolute and perpetual truths or lies. So during social interaction, we need considerate more than we think.
