What We Can Do to Help Disabled People In life we often meet such a group of people who lost a function of the body because of natural or accident. This means that they will put more efforts and face greater challenges than healthy people! What we can do to help them? In my opinion, what we should give and often overlooked is respect! You might be indignant and shouted that you respected them so much, when you saw a person who missed his arm you will immediately help him lift anything; when you saw a person who missed his leg you will bring him to the place he want; when you saw a person who lost his voice you looked him with sympathetic eyes. Yet! You do a lot to help them but you never thought about whether they really need your help. What the disabled people really want is that we can treat them as healthy people in my mind. If the people who missed his arm he can used his mouth to lift; if the people who missed his leg he can also use his arm to have a happy life; if the people who lost his voice he can use sign language to express his thoughts. In a way they are more successful than healthy people because they lost some functions of the body however, they are still able to live like healthy people. If you want to do things to help disabled people then you should treat them as healthy people first, giving them the real respect! Respect for their efforts ,respect for their achievements and respecting their life!
