Due Attention Should Be Given To the Study of Chinese In recent years, there are more and more students paying less attention to the study of Chinese, which has become a heated issue of our society. As a result, due attention should be given to the study of Chinese. The reasons why this phenomenon appears are as followings. To begin with, some foreign languages such as English, Japanese, Korea, and French are becoming more popular among students. Then, students like foreign languages just because the pop stars in their minds are from foreign country. For example, those who like Korea are just because they like Big bang, a famous team in the local. Therefore, in order to make themselves cooler and smarter, students show great interests in and pay a lot of attention to the language they like. However, this makes our national language become less attractive. If we do not pay more attention to our language, we will lose a lot in the near future. As far as I’m concerned, we are supposed to pay more attention to Chinese rather than other language. Only with our emphasis and effort to studying English can we make our country become more powerful and win respects from international.
