Studying play an important role in our daily life, we are required to go to school when we are young. Studying can help us increase our knowledge, and help us know more about the world, the strange things and so on. Studying is not only young people's responsibility but-also all of us. As a proverb goes:" keep on learning as long as you live". So, for old people geting a degree is also important. Here are my reasons. With the rapid development of economy, many new technologies arise,and many new products that we haven't seen before in our lives, if they don't know about these, they will be out of date. On the other hand, studying can make us keep awake brain, many elderly people with Alzheimer's disease because they don't want to receive new things and they are not thinking, so if we want to decrease this disease we should encourage the elderly people study. Secondly, in 19th century, many people are in war, they have no chance to learn. Nowadays, they have access to studying, and why not make full use of this chance to accomplish the dream. My grandma can't go to school because her home was too poor to support her to study, I often encouraged her to go to adult school to study, finally she accepted my advice, she has stayed there one year. Admittedly, many old people don't want to study, they may say they are old and no energy to study. The only thing they want is relaxed, there is no denying that they need relax but relax is not all, they can obtain spiritual enjoyment through learning, not just physical rest. In a word, studying should run through our whole life.
