In my opinion, I can't disagree the statement about listening is more important than talking. I love listening to other people's talking silently. If someone sad or cry, I would accompany with her and listen to her without a word. I think at that time, he or she may be more need me to listen rather then speak some comfortable words to he or her. Anyway, listening is not only a skill but also a good way to close your relationship between each other. So, I think listening is more important than talking.
