Advertising discourages people from being different individuals by making us all want to do the same and look the same. Do you agree or disagree?

题目讲解:

题义理解上有那么一点难!但是总之都跟广告有关。

广告使人们都看上去一样,也就是广告的宣传效应会影响人们的消费行为 manipulate people's buying behaviour然后掀起一些特定品牌的时尚create fashion。也就是去写广告的影响力会使一些brands垄断市场monopolise the market。
但是广告其实并不会使人们都一样,我们不能低估人们对于产品质量和个人喜好的理性underestimate people's rationality to products quality and the influence of personal preference.
这么一分析,还是我们说的广告经典题,广告到底能不能影响人们的消费!

From my poin to view, advertising could affet people'choice when they buy something. Frist of all, some people want to but advertised something just because the theme song advertising on TV has attracted them, or the male or female actor is their favorite star. Second,it is the creative ideas or story inside one advertisement impressed them well, so audience think their products is as well as their advertisement. Last but not least, when one advertisement repeat being shown on television, people's eyes was affected again and again, then there will be one potential impression which went into people's mind, when they some day found this product in supermarket, they will have familiarity with this product, so this is the obvious function of advertisement.
