In my point of view,I am absolutely approved of the remark that the greatest use of life is to spend it for someyhing that will outlast it. The following is the reasons for my point. First of all,the same length of life that everyone have,which is unchangeable ,though,what we can do is to highly widen and deepen it to make it more meaningful and extraordinary.Secondly,it fulfills our time and entertainus to do those things that will outlast our life.Last but not least,those things also solidatethe society and promote development of virtue. In many aspects,we can do lots of things to make our life meaningful.There is no doubt that volunteering is the most comman way to cultivate our active characters.In addition,we had better read books as many as possible.
