For the well being of the society and for the law to be effective it is vital that gender equality is maintained. It is stated that law should not discriminate people on the basis of gender and race because equality is the right of every individual. Education and job in the society should be based upon merit and not on gender. Liberalism in the society is attained through the help of legal regulation. However, it noted that liberalism leads to equality but on the basis of merit because income of people and gender might differ on the basis of talents. Law in a society is implemented to ensure that every activity is performed accordingly to protect harassment and discrimination. Various affirmative actions have been taken by the government in order to maintain law and order and guide behaviour and attitude. In the year 2004, the Age discrimination act was implemented in Australia so that equal opportunity is provided. As per the legal scenario it is of significance to appoint people on the basis of talents when the education and other forms of benefits are equal to individuals (Australian Human Rights Commission, 2016). Law is implemented so that behaviour of people is neutral and positive with ideology of law. The structure of the society is effective and dominant when legal regulation is met and the ideologies are followed by people (Tyler, 1994). Moreover, the anti discrimination acts are subject to innovation and domination in order to avoid offensive issues. The decision making process in the society is inclined towards legal regulations and obligations. It is ascertained that society is effective and has value when people are free to make their decisions without any social evils such as discrimination. Law in the society influences the perception of people because they are aware of the doing and the judgmental factors. The values of people are guided by the legal framework of the society because judgment and social conditioning are dependent upon several factors (Kahan, 1997).
