China is the homeland of silk. Therefore, there are various of crafts being related to silk.One of these are embroidery. Embroidery is one of Chinese traditional folk handcraft,which has been owning two or three thousand years' history at least. Most working on embroidery are women, consequently embroidery is also called women's needlework. Embroidery is popular with Chinese widespreadly. Not only is embroidery used to decorate clothes, such as in the cloth, quilt, pillowcase and so on with some beautiful chart, but also is made special ornament. China has four famous embroideries, all of them are Suzhou's SuXiu, Guangdong's YueXiu, Hunan's XiangXiu and Sichuan's ShuXiu. Different embroideries has their own unique style and title. Suzhou's SuXiu is known amongst these.
