It is universally acknowledged that Chinese are the group of people who view tradition as an rather important thing.In this case,traditional festivals,such as The Dragon Boat Festival,will be observed by the whole race every year. As we Chinese all know,The Dragon Boat Festival is in honor of Qu Yuan,a famous ancient poet.According to the Chinese history,he drown himself to the river of Miluo because of the unfair society and ugly emperor.In order to protect Qu Yuan from being eaten by the fish,people who moved by his virtue started to throw rice dumplings into the river to feed the hungry fish.In this case,we Chinese have the habit to eat the delicious rice dumplings on this festival.What's more,we also observe the tradition to hold an exciting dragon boat competition during which all of the participants try their best and have great fun. As a Chinese,I hope our traditional culture and festivals will be lively forever and add color to all of our Chinese people’s life!
