As the contemporary society develops dramatically, the worrying problem has sprung up that the degree of interpersonal communication has decreased. The reason is mainly due to the impact of the internet. Influenced by Internet, many people,especially adolescents are likely addicted to online charting rather than face-to-face communication. We can never deny the fact that Internet has influenced people's life, but it never replaces the face-to-face communication.The reason why I insist on my viewpoint that the impact of the Interner on interpersonal communication is harmful to youngsters mainly lies in the following aspects. To begin with, face-to-face communication can draw your attraction on the topic that you are talking, especially in terms of enhancing parent-child relationship. While online communication can never do this. More than one time,I saw some people playing games as they talked with others. To addition, face-to-face can eliminate distrust between parents and children. To sum up, on one side, the impact of the Internet on interpersonal communication is beneficial, such as the far distance greeting, however I don't think it is considerable for parents and children.
