As is clearly depicted from a cartoon that the parents need to use the Internet to talk to their kid. And we can find that the impact of the Internet on the way people communicate is so serious that it is high time we pay attention to it. Recently, people are excessively dependent on the Internet to communicate with others. Some people even prefer to talk on line rather than communicate face to face. What's worse, because the increasing use of the Internet, the relationship between us may be worse and worse. Even though more and more people use the Internet to communicate with others, the electronic communication can never replace face-to-face contact. Because when talking to others, we can hear their voices, see their expressions, and even hold their hands if we woul like to. But if we talk on line we can never do that. So I don't think electronic communication can replace face-to-face contact.
