The value of university life When it comes to the value of university life, as far as I'm concerned ,it far beyonds that the harvest of enormous knowledge which given by the textbooks or teachers. Also,it largely helps me to be an independent person. During the one and a half valuable years in the university, without the accompany of my parents, I change a lot and become more and more independent. Studying in a university which is far away from my hometown, as a newcomer, I have no choice but to be more independent when facing with troublesome issues. To some extent, the college is a counterpart of a complicated society which many varieties of people from different part living and studying in it. Apart from the acquiring of knowledge, it is inevitable for me to deal with the diverse kinds of people. In order to adapt to the life of college, I made a great of endeavors to compel me to be more sociable and managed to master the skill of getting well alone with people around me. Compared with the past, I get acquaint with more friends and receive lots of valuable friendships which deserve to be cherished forever. And based on my interest, I enrolled in school union and after striving for a year, such as came up with many new ideas which promote the development of the union and then I was chosed to be the chairwoman. My capacity got a lot of improvements which is beneficial for the future work. In conclusion, the university is not just a place for you to acquire the knowledge, it also provides you with a large number of chances to get an all-around development.
