The Impact of then Internet on Interpersonal Communication The internet is so frequently appeared in every spheres of our life that we never feel strange when we communicate with others on the internet. What effects did the internet really bring to us on interpersonal communication? Everyone has his interpretation when people grive rise to this subject. From my prospective, it is seemingly a double-edged sword. On the one hand, it exerts considerable influences on forms of communication of the majority. This kind of instant communication greatly provides us with a quick and convient path to interact with others. On the other hand, there is no denying fact that face-to-face communication will be greatly reduced and ignorant. However, accounting for acquiring message immediately and reacting to what the other side have said as soon as possible, not even the most sophisticated telecommunication technology can replace face-to-face exchanges. Taking all factors into consideration, we can reasonably arrive at the conclusion that the internet partly does benefits on interpersonal communication.
