What We Can Do to Help Disabled People Although the medical technologies and and systems are developing rapidly nowadays, there are still many disabled people for many reasons. They are the members who need our help in our family. So, what we can do to help them? Personally, there are three steps to do. At first, we should consider them as equal as other normal people. They would become sensitive when finding that they are different from others. What we should do is just to respect and understand their feeling. Except the empathy,considering them as normal people should be the most important thing. In addition, the help should not be an empty talk but a real action. For example, we can offer the seat to the disabled, help them cross the road, help the inconvenient people carry bags and so on. Finally, as students, we cannot raise money for the disabled people but we can appeal to more people to care about their health. We pay attention to not only their physical health but mental health. It is necessary for us to communicate with them more often and learn about what their feeling is. If we do like this, I believe, our society will become better and better.
