In the current society, excessive packaging is not an uncommon phenomenon. The tiny commodity you buy is usually hidden in a comparatively huge package which sometimes make you feel confused. The reasons behind the phenomenon, according to me, are as follows. First, we are now living in a world where appearance comes first in whichever field at any time. A good-looking package perfectly suits the trend. Second, excessive packaging means excessive charging, which eventually brings the businessmen more profits. Last but not least, as consumers, we naturally feel the item we buy more attractive and quality-guranteed when we see the luxrious packaging. I, as a matter of fact, would like to say no to excessive packaging. Not only because such activity does no good to the environment but also because it is fundamentally useless. If possible, I prefer to buy what I need with basic packaging to protect it from being damaged. Besides, it is necessary that the whole world be called upon to avoid excessive packaging.
