Some people think that the government should establish free libraries in each town. Others, however, believe that it is a waste of money since the public can use the Internet at home to obtain information. Discuss both sides and give your own opinion.

It is a heatedly discussed topic that if the government should establish libraries. Some people agree with it, while others are against this idea. They maintain people can acauire information from the Internet. In speaking of me, I am in favour of the first one. First of all, libraries can do us a favor to get in touch with others. For example, you can sit in the library, communicating with other people who share the same interest with you. However, if you use the Internet, you seldom meet interesting people, which may make your reading process boring. Furthermore, because of the library, you can seek for information almost at any time. As we all know, without electricity, we can't resort to the Internet to help us. Nevertheless, we can also read books or newspapers in the library. Last but not least, libraries can help to improve the development of culture. For instance, many important findings are found by archeologists all around the world. Culture can be protected in the form of books, but the statistics on the Internet is likely to miss. Above all, I think liberaries are important, and government should put more money on building libraries.
