it is interesting that science is not so popular among those who study in university ; there could be several reasons to explain this phenomenon and this surly have caused some adversed effect on the society ; several reasons can be explained to the fact students show little interest in science ; firstly , studying science could consume students a great amount of time ,fiance and efforts , sometimes , they may have empty hands , therefore ,students may feel it not worthwhile investing efforts in the science study ; furthermore , it is not easy for the students who do major in science to find jobs after graduation ; normally , one can get a job only if he has a diploma from a prestige university ; otherwise , a degree in the disciplines of economy or finance will be more attractive in the labor market ; therefore , when taking these into account , it is understandable that there are just a small number of students willing to study science ; of course , this phenomenon will definitely do harm to the society ;this is scientific development is the key driving force of any breakthroughs in the society ; if no one would like to devote effort into the scientific research , little progress would be made to the social development ; and more importantly , people's lving quality will be seriously affected if the society lack of the sustainable scientific development; therefore , it seems that government should come up with some positive measures to encourage students to choose science as the major during their study in the colleges; to conclude, job opportunities and career prospects can be the main reasons to explain why students don't want to choose science in university study and if government do not take the actions , the society will suffer from that'
